Trail Overview

Take this easy 1.2 miles hike up to Carlon Falls. This 25 foot tall waterfall is an amazing place for an afternoon swim to beat the hot summer heat. There are two nice size pools for swimming just below the falls along with nice smooth rock that the water flows over just a couple inches deep most of the year.

How to get there

From Yosemite Valley:Head out of Yosemite Valley on the Big Oak Flat Road(highway 120). In 1 mile pass the Big Oak Flat turn right onto Evergreen Road. Follow Evergreen Road for 1 mile to the trailhead on the right side of the road. Google Map
