Trail Overview

This two mile round trip trail follows an old road from Upper Mesa Falls to Lower Mesa Falls. Pick up an Interpretive pamphlet just up the trail from the main trailhead as the trail crosses the campground road. Stop at 94432 interpretive signpost and read about the surrounding area. Mid way the trail offers an amazing overlook of the river. Once at Lower Mesa Falls you will be standing ontop of a basalt rock cliff just above the falls. Be sure to also check out Mesa Falls.
